MapRun declared the winner

We have decided that MapRun is the way forward for smartphone (and smartwatch) orienteering. So, to keep things simple, our few MapTiler and HippsomApp products have been withdrawn, and we will not be trying to maintain all the MOBO controls at Burrs. 

Interesting bench in Worsley Woods

This bench, on the path South of control TF, is dedicated to memorial plaques for oodles of dogs.  It was very shiny in the low-flying winter sunshine.

GMOA is a volunteer organisation which creates and looks after Permanent Orienteering Courses in and around Greater Manchester. Its members come from the two active Orienteering Clubs which cover the area - MDOC (South Manchester) and SELOC (North Manchester).
