Course Status
- Last checked June 2026 – everything OK though vegetation is high.
- NB. post JJ has been moved from its very hard to find position to a bend on the high level path. Get a new map ?
- NB. post DD has been moved 20m or so to a safer place next to a big boulder.
- A few controls are harder to locate in the summer months due to vegetation growth, in particular CC, C, F, H, YY.
- NB. Post PP has been replaced with a new one in a different position about 60m to the East – hopefully not going to be drowned in undergrowth – new description S knoll, S side.
- Apparently there is now funding for redevelopment of the central buildings to provide a cafe and toilets.
- NB. the rides around JJ are increasingly indistinct, though the paths along them are clear enough.
- NB. TT has been moved away from repeated vandalism – across the path to a new home between two large trees.
- NB. The path up to control C becomes very overgrown in Summer.
- NB. It is feasible and safe to go between R and DD along the main road pavement.
