  • Course Status

  • Last checked July 2026 – everything OK, though undergrowth is rampant.  The latest map has quite a few changes, though only S1 has been moved.
  • February 2024 –  posts K N P have been moved out of their surrounding brambles to new positions nearby (30-50m away).  You will need a new map to be sure of finding them.
  • 23/10/2021 – control T has been moved from its underwater platform to the back of the nearby bench. The archery area is now on the map, as Out-of-Bounds.
  • Feb 2020 – the often-flooded path between EE and TC has been resurfaced and is open again.
  • Note that the plaque that was W is now TC, and post J has been moved out from its covering of brambles.

  • There are two Starts – one by the Rugby Club building, for the Beginner course; and one by the entrance, for the others.

  • The rugby club is signed from the A5145, approx 1km east of the A34 (Kingsway) or 4km west of Stockport. Turn south onto Station Rd and follow the signs along Vale Rd and Battersey Rd through the industrial estate to the Rugby Club car park.
