  • Course Status

  • Stop Press (Jan 26 2024) – outline planning permission has been granted for developments on the big meadow – it is thought that the earliest work may start is late 2025.   Check out the Mirrlees Fields web site.
  • Last checked April 2024. Everything OK – post N has been moved 30m or so, as its depression has become a shelter (see news item). Get a new map !
  • Stretches of new fence are intended to curtail access off the paths. These have been added to the map – but it is still possible to do loops round each of the two halves, without climbing any fence. See the News post for a photo – these are hip-height and not barbed so are indicative rather than enforcing.
  • nb. the paths through the grass seem to be ever-changing, and mapped “small trees” are much bigger now.
  • Course installed September 2017.
