Brilliant new facility at Brereton Heath
Ice-cold milk and milkshakes from a dispenser in a kiosk opposite the park entrance. Very tasty and very popular with the locals.
New Forest in Brabyns Park
Several patches of new trees have been planted in Brabyns Park. The actual trees are a lot smaller than their protectors!

Prelude to felling in Macclesfield Forest ?
Lots of path-improving, path-widening and low-level slashing near post N in Macclesfield Forest. Presumably by next visit, all these trees will be gone.
New lake overflow at Heaton Park
The new overflow from the boating lake at Heaton Park is now on the map. Also, there’s been a significant resurvey of Kersal Moor.
The Everglades come to Wythenshawe
No need to go to Florida – the everglades have taken over the NorthWest corner of Wythenshawe Park. Fortunately no POC controls have been harmed in the process.
