Just did a full tour of Daisy Nook, and there’s no sign whatsoever of the illegal mass rave of the previous weekend – whoever did the clear-up has done a brilliant job !
Checked out the new map, and nudged a few things accordingly. The park was heaving … the photo of Crime Lake is deceptively peaceful.
A very quiet playground at Daisy Nook. New post E installed – suspect the previous plaque was washed away in the floods.
New SF plaque for Chadderton Hall Park, 4 posts much better installed at Alexandra Park (photo is post P), replacement post G for Daisy Nook Country Park.
Some unexpected help with post P at Daisy Nook – Oscar had a go with every tool in the box.
Also this week – painting and firming up at Mirrlees Fields, removal of duplicate U at Chorlton, replacements for R and U at Burrs Country Park (not to mention excellent coffee and cake at the cafe), replacements for P and V plus a couple of little map corrections at Daisy Nook.
A couple of days of maintenance activity his week:
Checks of Chadderton Hall Park, and Strinesdale. New S/F plaques at the S1 and S2 starts at Daisy Nook. Rotted plaque D replaced at Gorse Hall.
Missing plaque O replaced at Burrs Country Park. Rotten post Z replaced and missing plaque D put in at Hoyles Park. Missing post A replaced at Queens Park Heywood. Missing post R replaced at Moss Bank.
